My current drink of choice:
Lately I've been drinking rye manhattans (stirred; never shaken). I love cocktails with citrus or sour cherry. My favorite is a gin gimlet with fresh lime (served up). Aviation. Rhum Barbancourt 3-star (esp. in classic daiquiri or w/ pineapple juice). Indian Summer cocktail (habanero and jalapeno-infused pineapple vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup---served up). Aperol Spritz. Sidecar. Pinot noir. Dry Gewürztraminer. Muscatel. Kriek. Champagne with elderflower syrup. A buttery, oaky chardonnay. Cava. Gruet Sparkling (NV). Stone IPA. Allagash Curieux. Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. Corsendonk Abbey Pale Ale. Caracole Belgian Amber.
I really wish I could:

mac 'n cheese. chances are 100% I will order this if it's on a menu.

I have way too many. Spending time on Chow has assured me that my penchant for reading cookbooks for pleasure is (relatively) normal. My favorites are old, dated cookbooks. Hideous photos and some priceless copy. Love it!
