Rio Mar reviews?
I love Rio Mar! It's reasonably priced and pretty unique in this area. Lunch is tapas. For dinner I love the bacalao also, and the tuna wrapped in serrano ham is truly outstanding, imo. Hubby also never misses dessert here. Tres Leches or banana empanadas... yumm.
Indian Food-Is Nirvana it?
I like Salt 'n'Pepper in the Quarter. It's a dive with a pretty small menu, but tasty nonetheless.
New Orleanian in Shreveport
I recently had a pretty good lunch at the Columbia Cafe.
Business Luncheon near Law Firms
I'm a NOLA chow trying to plan a small luncheon (10-20 guests) for Philly attorneys. What are some good spots convenient to downtown law firms with private dining? Thanks in advance!
Recs for Shreveport
Can any of these places accomodate a group of 20 or so for lunch? If not, any other suggestions in the Shreveport area?
NOLA chow needs business luncheon help
I'm flexible, but I think under $50pp is reasonable for a luncheon. Do you agree?
NOLA chow needs business luncheon help
I work for a law school here in New Orleans and I'm planning a luncheon for our dean (who's also a foodie) and 15-25 alumni in Chicago mid-March. Coworker suggested Tavern on Rush, but it seems touristy to me- am I wrong? Also considering Brasserie Jo, but would like other suggestions that are convenient to downtown/law firms and in this mid-range price point. Where would you want to go?
Best Casual Dining Miami
Thanks to all for the help! We leave tomorrow and have plans for Versailles and Michael's Genuine during our stay. Latin American food is still pretty new to New Orleans so I'm anxious to try these "mature" places. Happy Holidays!
Best Casual Dining Miami
My husband and I will be in Miami this Friday through Tuesday. We're staying downtown but are visiting family so we'll have access to a car. We are foodies from New Orleans and love to try the best local flavors while travelling. Price is not top consideration, but we do not plan to pack dress clothes. We want to visit the best authentic local places, which I assume means Cuban, Carribean, etc. that we can visit in jeans. Thanks in advance!
