Update wanted for CSUS area!

Hi....I searched the board (wish there was a Sacramento one too!) and decided on eating at Tacqueria Guadalajara...then I saw some health issues raised elsewhere...can anyone tell me what the current state of the restaurant is, or recommend another good spot near CSUS? Ettores sounds good, but what else is out there?

Thanks, Windy..we did think about dim sum..we will be staying a few blocks from Union Square...looks like Yank Sing is only open for lunch..we are also looking for a spot that opens by 8 AM

Hi...a group of us..about 11 or 12.. are meeting early on a Sunday morning for breakfast. I see lots of great breakfast spots, but most don't seem to take reservations which makes me a little nervous because one of our party has a flight to catch. Any ideas? Susan
