New: Great authentic Beijing cuisine in San Francisco
Are you kidding?? If it's not appropriate in America, then how can it be appropriate at any restaurant in America? In China the prices are all inflated to account for the inevitable haggling that happens. That is not the case here, regardless of how "authentically Chinese" the food. Would you even try doing something like that at an "American" restaurant, even though "the worst they can say is no?" I doubt it.
photo on an ice cream cake?
My folks live in Mclean and I want to get them a birthday cake (preferably ice cream, but regular cake ok too) that I can have a jpeg photo put on the top of it. They do this in SF, but I don't know of a place in the DC area that can do this. Does anyone know of an ice cream place or a bakery that will do this? Thanks.
Passionfruit puree - where can I buy it??
Does anyone know where to get Maracuya or passionfruit puree in San Francisco? Is it typically frozen or canned or packaged? I have no idea what to look for...
