I don't really have dinner parties. For bring-a-dish things, one of my favorites is German potato salad.

poached eggs on toast w/ cheese
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
It changes all the time, but today I'll vote for: Foti's, Poplar Springs Inn, Hunter's Head Tavern, The Inn at Little Washington, Asian Garden (our local favorite Chinese restaurant)

I don't cook enough for anything to get tattered :-).
