New York for Memorial Day weekend

Hi - I'll be in NYC for the Memorial Day weekend and I would love suggestions on places that are a must to visit. Husband and I are specifically interested in good noodle places, but love it all - steak houses, korean, italian, and even hot dogs! We'll be staying really close to Grand Central Station.

Good noodle place?

I'm looking for a good noodle place. I went to DC noodles a few weeks ago and liked that, but wondered if there are other options (besides noodle and company). Thanks in advance!

Best olive juice for martini's?

I'm tired of buying tons of jars of olives just for the juice! I know that you can buy just olive juice for martini's...but does anyone have one in particular thats good?

Laksa?

Are there any places in the Tysons, Herndon, Reston, Vienna area where I can get laksa?

Pickling Recipe?

I am growing sweet peppers and red hot cherry peppers. Though they are fine on salads, I would like to explore pickling. Does anyone have any recipes or advice?

TIA!

Mothers Day at Bazin's?

nevermind, they are already booked!

Mothers Day at Bazin's?

I've never been there before, but have heard good things. I am, however, concerned about the noise and if their quality will suffer b/c it will be Mothers Day and will be crowded and busy...Should I be concerned about this?

Lets Dish or Dinner Zen

I realize neither will provide an amazing culinary experience, but are they atleast OK? My mom is not a huge cook but I thought it would be something fun to do together. Has anyone tried either (Lets Dish or Dinner Zen in Reston) and if so can you please share your thoughts?

Thanks!

Korean Food in NoVa?

I know that Annandale is the place to go for Korean food, but given that I'm closer to Tyson's, which would you say is better, Woolaeoak or Songbird? And if I were to be persuaded to go to Annandale, which would make the drive worth it?

Thanks from Hendon!
