Had brunch here yesterday & loved the stuffed poblano pepper! Stuffed with goat cheese this plate was tremendous! Full flavored and quite a composition, I must say :) I'll be back!
All-Star Pizza: A preview?
This place is improving! My cheese slice was considerably better than my last visit... Had this pizza, Upper Crust and Penguin pizza this week(sad to report) and I think All Star was the best of the three.

Have to disagree about Arthur & Pat's--I always LOVE my $15 omelette & always look forward to the next visit! I love Dee too('surly' waitress)--super nice :)
They do close for the winter for months...
Sunny's Table--spicy and tasty in Concord NH
After reading this thread and finding myself in Concord, I went to Sunny's Table tonight and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I thought the Salmon Tartar was outstanding with a beautiful blend of many flavors coming together in unity and with a kick too. The Angry Shrimp was enjoyable and tasty, but could have bit a bit more, I don't know, complex... Good, but a bit safe.
Service could not have been better; smiles were abundant :)--I would definitely recommend this place.

That sounds great! In Cali, if you order shrimp taco/burrito, they will grill them on a flat top fresh and so good :)

I'm a vegetarian from SF, but for me the difference is the options available are larger, fresher and offer truly spicy options(salsa laced with fresh jalapenos). As for tacos--the corn tortillas are better and fresher...

The Beehive has good music, as does Wally's & The Lilypad in Inman Sq. Cambridge--Good food to be had in Inman(East Coast Grill, The Druid + many others)

Exactly! Loved them when they were in Revere; went to the Cambridge one one time and will never return as I saw zero resemblance to the food I'd enjoyed so thoroughly in the original locale.

Fresh bamboo are great there! I like Wonder sauce, but it's quite spicy, just so you know. The Sesame sauce is probably excellent as well.
Brunch at Umami in Brookline
Went last night for the 1st time & sat at the bar with a friend. Loved it! I loved the creative complex drinks --Bourbon w/cranberry chutney among others cocktails using tequila or mezcal... Had a rum one too, but each one I tasted was delicious, but now hard to remember somehow :)
Just had a little food but enjoyed that as well--a mushroom small plate w/quail egg & a shrimp w/ peppers & onions.
Shanghai Gate in Allston: Recommendations?
