ISO CHIC peanut butter cookie recipe
I took a class at the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago several years back. There was an amazing peanut butter cookie recipe. It was made with crunchy peanut butter, a pound of president butter, and shaved chocolate. It used to be posted on the website, and they have a new site. If anyone has a recipe that creates a crispy and yet moist cookie, it would be much appreciated. My sister has been bothering me for a batch. and I can't admit to not having the recipe. Please help!!!!

by lower percent... does that mean that i need to go elsewhere to look for cocoa? at williams sonoma or at sur la table all i found was 70%. does this mean i should go to the grocery store and use the hersheys? i am willing to do so. but with some reluctance.
Culinary Adventures in Tucson - reviews of Poca Cosa/Mi Nidito/J Bar/Parrilla Suiza
i forgot to mention... i remember when janos lost a star. quality of food, staff and attitude fell all at the same time. it was expected. and the j bar is better than eating at janos anyway. the service is better and the food comes out faster too.

i think the only item to order at cpc is the mole. it was the best around. and the salad, it seemed was just more of a garnish.. too hard to eat before.. and having it sit in the various sauces.. well, i just move around it.
and at mi nidito, i love the bean and cheese chimi. the dried beef is a little... sodium heavy.
stuffed pumpkin
wow... thanks for the replies. i am craving this wonderful fall dish.. since the weather is getting a little cooler here in florida. ashwood, thanks for reminding me, there was lots of fennel in it. the green lentils, i agree would work nicely in this. i will try barley since i have that i my pantry. for some reason amaranth came to mind. and you're right ruth, a 5lb pumpkin would take forever. i'll look for a sugar pie.
stuffed pumpkin
when i was younger, my armenian next door neighbor made this lovely stuffed pumpkin and i cannot even find recipes that even come close to recreating this marvelopus feast. a 5lb pumpkin filled with ground lamb, rice, onions, garlic, some very nutty grain, lentils... and spices my novice palate cannot decipher. please help.

pizza in ft myers/cape coral
i would recommend, india palace, mildreds for great comfort/southern food, carabbas for decent italian chain food (seriously). if you're itching for vietnamese food... drive to north naples and go to noodle saigon. believe me its well worth the trip.

Has anyone tried the pizza at giovanni's italian restaurant on mcgregor?
pizza in ft myers/cape coral
found another decent place for pizza/stromboli/calzones: amici's on winkler. we ordered in for lunch at work. and wow. it was great. portions were great. i ordered a stromboli, it was chockful of meats and a little sparse on the veggies. order marinara for dipping.. its great. the shrimp con broc was acceptable. but wow did it have the zing of garlic, which really helped it along. and calzone was delish also.
pizza in ft myers/cape coral
wow... buon appetito was awesome. i had a margarita pizza. i could eat jars of the fresh tomato sauce. and the fresh mozzerella just melted in your mouth. what a great suggestion. thank you very much!!!1

i haven't tried pizza 2000. i will try it.
for mille sapore, their appetizers are more mediterranean than their whole menu. the falafel wasn't good when i was there. but the hummus was great. i like plaka also.
pizza in ft myers/cape coral
I've been there. the food is great, but a little far for my ravenous pizza needs and they don't deliver. jimmy (the egyptian frontman) is really nice. i can't believe that he always remembers me.

Chowish Fort Myers
for late breakfast, go to the oasis restaurant in downtown ft myers. the good is simple, well priced (cheap) and unassuming. there might be a wait.

vita nova in cape coral was the place of choice for pizza. hand ground sausage, nice sauce, perfectly crisped crust. but sadly.. as i drove up for dinner one day, there was a sign on the door: closed until further notice. i need a new pizza place. any suggestions, please help.
