La Farine College Ave question

THANKS all!!!!!!!!

La Farine College Ave question

Someone has told me the communal table is gone from the Collage Ave. Oakland location. Is anyone out there a regular who knows the current status of said table?! I could swear when I was there January 2nd that it was in place!

Also, the only listing on Chowhound is a Fruitvale Ave location?! Not only have I never heard of it, the La Farine website claims its goods can only be purchased at the store on College Ave. (Perhaps their website is out of date?! Or is someone using their name?!)

Thanks.

North Shore: 1640 Hart House or other ideas?

That's why we're goin' to the Clam Box on Saturday, John! :o) On Sunday they don't order new food they just open at 11:30am and close when they've sold out!

North Shore: 1640 Hart House or other ideas?

Any feedback on the "1640 Hart House" in Ipswich?

Looking for good food in Essex or Ipswich but not Woodmans, Farnhams, Lewis', Clam Box... we'll try those tomorrow. Want something more upscale but not 'break the bank'.

Bagels near Arlington (non-toasted)

I agree - love Bagels by Us (Richie's a great guy too) and agree too about the toasting of their bagels. However, there is one exception: the egg bagels are great "as is". :o)

Grandpa Tony's Unpasteurized Apple Cider - Applebrook Farms, Broad Brook, CT

Although they closed for the season the Sunday after Thanksgiving, Russell Orchards in Ipswich, MA, make their own cider and make cider donuts on the premises. Good stuff... well, that is I love their donuts but have never had cider donuts anywhere else (yet!)...

They re-open on May 1, 2008 according to their website:
