Have a friend who's in love with these but hasn't been able to find them outside of Hawaii or the Philippines. Anyone know of a store that sells them locally? Hate to have to mail order. Want to include as part of a Christmas gift. Thanks in advance.
New Indian Rest in Woodlawn
Love the old Irish bakery but have to say we've been pleasantly surprised by Curry Spot. Since they've open we've eaten in and taken out multiple times. Been excellent in both forms. In fact, thought it was better than many of the Curry Hill spots in Manhattan. Very nice people running the place and the new specials (for lunch and dinner) are an excellent deal. Can't wait to go back. Really a good addition to Woodlwan. Sometimes we just get maxed out on pub fare.

Was so sad when this place closed up. They had the absolute best apple spice cake. Anyone know of where i can find the recipe or similar and/or know of someone I could contact who might know? Thanks in advance.
