Good restaurants in Gaithersburg

We live in N. Potomac and love to eat out. Looking for good recommendations in Gaithersburg. Ethnic / American is great. Thanks! :)

26th Birthday Party suggestions wanted please!

Jackie's in Silver Spring. FUNKY, FUN, great decor. Great food. Not expensive. Went for my niece's 21st birthday. Everyone loved it.

Rockville Chinese

Far East on Nicholson Lane, Rockville. DELICIOUS! Absolutely, by far the best chinese in Rockville!

Place for a small wedding with unworldly food?

Hi. The Four Season's Hotel has a small room - Dumbarton Room which opens out to a terrace over the C & O Canal. It is just gorgeous! Food can't be beat!!!

Bice - Bethesda

Has anyone tried the new Bice in Bethesda, Md.? If so, what do you recommend and what should we stay away from?
Thanks!

3 days in DC looking for some good eats

I agree with the above writer. Breakfast is easy. Lots of local coffee shops and deli's. Lunch depends on where you are. Dinner is a different story. One night I would go to Chinatown definately. I like Chinatown Garden. Rosa Mexicana is a fun mexican restaurant across from the Verizon center. Be sure to order the guacamole, they make it tableside. If you like seafood, Oceanaire is the best but pricey. Capital Grille is an excellent steakhouse. TenPen is a cool asian restaurant.
I LOVE Mei n Yu. It is located in Georgetown on M Street. That would be a fun night spent in Georgetown strolling around before or after dinner. It is very funky and different with different fabric sofas surrounding the tables. The menu has a very interesting diversity. I love it there! You will need a reservation at all of these restaurants, especially Mei N Yu.
Have fun and enjoy our beautiful Nation's capital. Be sure to visit the American History museum and Air and Space Museum. Oh, and don't forget The Spy Museum!!! Very cool!
