Pre-Concert recs?
Thanks again. I know little about the city. I think we'll subway from one end to the other so was hoping not to stray too far off that path. Moderately priced. Cool vibe with some energy befitting a birthday & concert mood. Drinks and lite eats. I'll check these out.
Pre-Concert recs?
Thank you. Thank you.
It's a Thursday and we are probably taking subway to get there. I'll check these out.
Pre-Concert recs?
Why no replies? Did I go about it the wrong way? Does it not make sense?
Pre-Concert recs?
I don't know much about Philly. Looking for guidance on fun places to grab drinks / lite food before U2 show at Lincoln Field. We'll be in town all afternoon & staying in Logan Square so anything between the two. Emphasis on fun (U2 show AND 40th birthday). Bonus question: any recs for post-concert?
Baltimore cupcakes
This inquiry isn't so much about the quality of cupcake but the bakeries themselves. Does either Baltimore Cupcake Company or Charm City Cupcakes have an eat-in area? I will have a 3 year old and a 41 year old birthday girl with me. This is for a Saturday around 1:00 if that makes a difference.
Delivery in Roland Park / Cross Keys
Couple notes in response to suggestions below.
Chinese place near the Blockbuster & Al Pacino (Falls & Lake) is closed and is being replaced by Sushi Hanna, which has another location in Towson. Good sushi!
Kebob Stop which is attached to Pizza Boli on Falls Road (b/w Northern Parkway & Kelly Ave) has recently opened. VERY good. Takes a little longer than you might expect for order to be ready but it is b/c they cook everything to order. We had the chicken kebobs on 2 occassions and the chicken biryani on another (a Friday special) and it was great. Service is very friendly. Give it a shot.
Chiyo Sushi in Mt. Washington is good too. Lots of special rolls. Can be pricey though.
This may not help with the delivery issue but it's good food if you're willing to do carryout.
Christmas Eve in Baltimore
I've searched the board and can't find any conversations about Christmas Eve dining out. I'm open to any suggestions but have just a couple special needs. We are going to dine early - around 5:00 - to accommodate the 1+ year old...so someplace with early hours, that doesn't mind children. Last year we did the Feast of Seven Fishes at Aldo's and it was great. I'd recommend it to anyone. We were hoping for something a little less pricey this year. Keeping the Italian (seven fishes) idea would be great but we're open to anything really. Prefer if it's in Baltimore or heading west toward Westminster.
Any thoughts?
