Magic Cookery (published about 40 years ago by my Lebanese grandmother's Syrian Orthodox Church); my first Chinese cookbook (had lots of color pictures and a spiral binding. I can't remember the name, but I've cooked it to pieces); my two original Moosewood cookbooks; Patricia Wells, Bistro Cooking; Molly Stevens, All about Braising (my current favorite)
