Help - Need Main Line Restaurant suggestions for Sunday night dinner!
We just ate at Verdad last week which is in Bryn Mawr next to the movie theatre. Most of the menu was very good. Loved the short rib flat bread and the hamachi and scallop ceviches were very good as well. The Kobe taco was excellent too. Nice atmosphere and close by. We didn't love the main meat dishes as much as the smaller plates. They also have a Paella that you can order but it takes a long time so we didn't try it this time. Nice place and something a little different. We also LOVE La Maison in Ardmore. French place so authentic that the service is VERY slow. But the mussels are fantastic. Great specials.

We had dinner there about a year ago and it was fantastic. It seemed noisy in there, but it is a pretty small place. The pasta was great and very nice service.
Looking for restaurant in Reading, PA
A good friend is moving to Reading and we wanted to give her a gift certificate to someplace fairly nice for a romantic meal. She is not really a foodie but does love to go out. I can't seem to find any highly rated restaurants... does anyone have any suggestions?? THANKS!!

I posted a request asking for help finding a small plate dinner. I suggested Mezze or Pazo and got a large number of very conflicted but helpful comments. Thanks to all of you. We chose Mezze and we liked it quite a bit. The food was very very good. I liked the greek flavors and the braised beef and the calamari were very good. We were disappointed to be seated downstairs in the bar so we never got to see the rest of the place and our table was very small for this type of place (all those plates take some space!) This was made worse by the fact that everything we ordered came out at once. We are spoiled by our version of a tapas place-AMADA in Philly. They organize things so that the food comes out a dish or two at a time. The staff at Mezze couldn't have been nicer though. Thanks to all the hounds!
