Easy Slow Cooker BBQ Beef Brisket

Would somewhat disagree goodmom regarding the photo — with the dry rub, the side that is left exposed through the cook can get some pretty dark notes (although not as dark as the photo suggests).

Instead of returning the meat to the slowcooker, I reduced the sauce on the stovetop and then served it on top of the meat after it was shredded.
