The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian but it has nice ideas and I don't think it's wrong to cut out meats and dairy sometimes. Think she did a pretty good job :)

Went to Cafe Buenos Aires tonight. They were very crowded and the food was great!
we just had the Tapas (which were served at the table). We had the Chickpeas and Chorizo (really good), Noisette potatoes with Aioli (Yum!) Eggplant salad, Sweetbreads, Spinach Empanadas, Garlic Shrimp & Sardines. All was really good with some nice Argentinian wine, was a great night!

Ground Pork - what to do?
It's a Thai kind of Salad. I think the ground pork is boiled (but you could also sautee it), then tossed with Lime Juice, Fish Sauce, Slivered Red Onions, lots of Ginger, Chillies and Peanuts and serve it over a bed of Iceberg Lettuce.
It's very nie, light and refreshing! Great for a Hot day!!

Whole Foods in Boca actually makes their California Rolls with Real crab, no lump or anything but it is real crab....
Brunch & Anniversary dinner

Hubby & I will be in LA for our anniversary. We will be arriving Saturday afternoon and leaving Monday. Our anniversary is Sunday, we were wondering any recs on Brunch and a nice anniversary dinner? we will be staying in Santa Monica and will probably have Ramen, Shabu Shabu or Korean on Saturday....(don't know where thats going to be either...)
We like to have something that's LA but not too crazy priced... maybe Mozza for dinner? (as I am an absolute Mozzarella lover!) Hubby is a chef.... What to do....

thanx for the great news Toodie! we will definitely support the locals as much as we can! we haven't booked any accommodation or anything between santa monica and SF because of the whole situation, we weren't sure where we could go and where it will be closed....

we were definitely planning on taking the 1 as much as possible, and glad to hear from Toodie Jane it's open again!
we don't have a day by day itinerary, because we both haven't been there for a very long time (for hubby it has been 24 years and for me it has been 13 years) so we are not sure where to spend more time, so we will kind of go as we like...
