Best meal I ever ate:
2 euro lunch special: bratwurst with mashed potatos and sauerkraut and a beer, on a hot summer day on a patio in Meissen, Germany. Simple, traditional German food, but what made it special was the atmosphere, a great lazy day strolling around a beautiful little town, on a wonderful vacation with my wife.
My current drink of choice:
Ardbeg Supernova; Torres Fransola sauv blanc; Shea pinot noir; Kenyan kiamabara coffee
I really wish I could:
make gnocci - every attempt so far has been a disaster!
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
lately, a simple salad of arugula, pickled beets, chevre, walnuts and a blueberry vinaigrette
