Sorry this may be a no brainer but I'm planning on making a batch of pecan sandies and this recipie calls for one cup of butter (actually it calls for margarine but I never use margarine) and one cup of vegetable oil. I made this recipie about 6 months ago and although they tasted great, they had more of a cake-like texture. Does this have anything to do with the butter/vegetable oil combo? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
