Gift Certificate recs for Steak in the Trabuco Canyon/Lake Forest(?) Area?
We are Texans who need to send a gift cert to an LA friend. Friend lives in Trabuco Canyon that looks to be near Mission Viejo/Lake Forest. I know nothing about the LA area so forgive my poor geography. We'd like to send $100 and hopefully cover most of a nice meal for two. Any recs for a local steak joint in the area that might come close to that?
Thanks in advance...

My favorite things from Whole Foods (downtown)
Bubbie's Mochi Ice Cream. I got addicted in Hawaii (made in Honolulu) and was thrilled to see it at home. Green tea and Vanilla flavors transport me palm trees and the great blue Pacific...

Visiting Hilo town for day only- Rec your best lunch spot.
It's been a year since I've been, but I've greatly enjoyed Hilo Bay Cafe on several visits. I've only been for lunch and "afternoon" menu.

San Francisco Bakery
to the list!
AUSTIN Happy Hours
FINO has some good deals on small plates, too. I love the outdoor atmosphere to go along with it.
Ceviche in North Austin?
I like Manuel's a lot, too, but my favorite is Fonda San Miguel.
