In Search Of Killer Falafel

The falafel at the farmers market is the best. However, there is a place called Little Morocco on Eastern Ave. in Patterson Park/Highlandtown area that serves some middle eastern food, kebobs and such. They have a pretty decent falafel. They began as a cafe and hookah lounge and only a few weeks ago started to serve hot food. The menu includes American favorites like cheesesteaks and burgers for the locals, they just added some mexican favorites for their latino customers, but they do have some very very good moroccan fare. Its casual and relaxed. The hookah lounge upstairs is a cool place to eat. Its a great space with moroccan decor. The ingrediants are fresh and the prices very very reasonable.

In Search Of Killer Falafel

If you happen to venture up to Baltimore on a Sunday morning this summer, take advantage of the falafel stand at the Baltimore Farmer's Market under I-83. Its an amazing falafel sandwich, made with sprouted chick peas and very fresh, local and seasonal ingrediants. The sandwich is huge too. Plan to share it with a friend. Its one of the best and freshest falafels I've ever had. And the farmers market is a very lively place filled with all sorts of goodies.

sushi for dinner tonight in Baltimore

I love the sushi at My Thai in Mt. V. All dates I've taken to My Thai have loved the thai and the sushi.

Best place for fish and wine in Baltimore

My boyfriend and I are looking to go out and celebrate this week and he really loves fish and enjoys a great bottle of wine. I am looking for a great place in Baltimore that serves really great fresh fish and has a great wine list but won't break the bank. A few recommendations I have already are the Black Olive in Fells Point (little pricey), Helen's Garden in Canton, and the new place in Fells Point, Miss Irenes.

Does anyone else have some recs for a moderately priced restaurant in Baltimore for great fish and wine?

Best sushi in Baltimore

I am a huge fan of the sushi at My Thai on Charles Street in Mt. Vernon. I have never been disappointed by their thai food or sushi and the service is always great. The sushi is always fresh and flavorful. The servers are very helpful and make great suggestions if you are not sure what to order. Reasonably priced too.
