Tomato water: from canned tomatoes, as non-alcoholic mealtime drink?

No. They spin the wine in something and it removes the wine. There is actually none I believe. I don't drink, I am allergic to alcohol and that is what I use.

you do know there are decent dealcoholized wines out there, there's endless varieties of iced tea which go with anything. seriously, the possibilities are endless when choosing non-alcoholic drinks.

Grilled chicken and what special sauce make for a great picnic?

I think the smartest thing you can do is to brine your chickens in advance. Use 2/3 cup sugar, 3/4 cup KOSHER salt, and 3/4 cup worcestershire sauce per gallon of water. 24 hours is good for whole chickens. Rinse before cooking and use whatever seasoning you like. Try plain australian yogurt, a little EVOO, lemon juice, fresh thyme and lots of black pepper. Better yet use a mix of black, green and white peppercorns. Grill them slow.

Taco, freakin', Bell.

Find a recipe you like for taco seasoning. I use smoked hot paprika, substitutions like that to make my spices the way I like them. I also only use Simply Organic spices. I don't know why but their spices are great. So the most important thing to do when trying to recreate their beef is to brown it in water. Put the beef in the pan cold and put in a couple cups of water and start heating slowly while you mash the hell out of the beef to break it all up real fine. You'll find in recipes that they tell you to use a tablespoon or so of flour. Replace that with corn flour. Works every time and the better ingredients you use, the better the final product will be.

Whole Foods Sausage - any best and worst?

In Chicago I liked their breakfast links with blueberries inside. Good stuff but their sausages don't compare to Usingers sausages which are available throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Now I live in Florida...no more sausages.

Taco, freakin', Bell.

I used to love Taco Bell until I learned how to get my ground beef to have the same texture as theirs. Now I make it but use better ingredients and I haven't been back to Taco Hell ever since.

Spice-Rubbed Grilled Rib Steaks with Green Bean and Cherry Tomato Salad

Add a few drops of oil to the steaks before putting on a rub like this or it will burn up. Use a nice high temp oil like a refined avocado oil.

Looks like it sucks as do most kitchen gadgets. Get some good knives and learn how to use them. Nobody needs this junk.

Braising vegetables and meat simultaneously

I wouldn't be braising any vegetable that I wanted to stand alone later. Maybe roast them in the same oven aside from whatever you're braising...unless you want to make baby food.
