This particular event was a little different format from my regular pop ups, I wanted this to be more event like. I kept the music levels reasonable for the diners then once the last course was served we turned it up a notch this worked in my favor as the dining experience become more social after the courses were finished and more stayed longer mingling and ordering more beverages. 70% of my diners are between the ages of 40-65 and all had compliments on the experience.
It was a great success but I enjoy the more small intimate dinners better! The big ones just make it easier to feed my kids lol the are big eaters just like me.
I totally get it! im very sensitive to volume levels when i want to enjoy company of others, and made sure that it was properly managed the night of!
to set the record straight im not fine dining, and dont want to be anywhere near it! i may serve food that you would find on that type of a menu, but i just want people to enjoy themselves and taste what i like to cook and eat!
