Surf and Turf on Monsarrat in Honolulu

The food here is delicioso! The tacos are fresh beyond belief! I had a spicey poke taco that came with a perfectly cooked panko coated shrimp and so good ahi poke topped with spicey mayo, salsa, shredded cabbage on warm tender corn tortillas. My Dude had a steak taco cooked perfectly rare with fresh salsa - heaven. I know good Mexican food and this place does it right. This place is a local find. There is a small parking lot but also comfortable walking distance from Kapiolani Park, Sans Souci Beach or the Zoo locales. Cash only, however - there is a cash machine. There are young people working the front who seem distant initially but talk to them about the food and they beam. Altogether a sweet time.

Burgers in Honolulu/Oahu

Went to Kua Aina Honolulu yesterday. So disappointed -- had my standard cheeseburger. The meat was not juicy, the cheese was not melted and the bun was like a separate entity lacking a relationship with the meat & cheese. The bun was dry and not fresh. I have been going to Kua Aina since the 80's in North Shore and Honolulu at least 4 times when visiting from the Mainland and Never Ever has it not been delicious. Is this now typical? Last here May 2012.

Honolulu Vietnamese & Korean

I am here for my annual month! But So Gong Dong Korean BBQ at McCully Square is gone. Korean recommendations, please.

Also Vietnamese recommendations -- I love fresh rolls, tendon, bun & crepes.

Thoughts on where to find cold jellyfish?

Thanks so much, in advance.
