Salted Caramel Frosting

I halved the butter (6 tablespoons) and used two ounces of cream cheese instead of heavy cream, since that's what I had on hand. A little extra sugar (maybe 1/3 cup) and it set up beautifully and stayed a little soft. I had exactly enough for a dozen cupcakes.

Delicious flavour; I love cupcakes, but find most frostings overwhelmingly sweet.
