Five Guys Burgers coming to Station Landing in Medford

Stopped at the Five Guys in Saugus and it was my first Five Guys visit ever. Fries had no flavor and weren't even close to crispy-it was just big cooked batonnets of potato. Got a burger with mushrooms, onions, bacon, and bbq sauce; didn't taste like ANYTHING. No exaggeration. No flavor whatsoever. very disapointed. Sonic and Five Guys can go back to where they came, a freshly made Big Mac or a Whopper with Cheese DOMINATES the burger offerings from both of these joints.

Along Route 1 South in Danvers Peabody Saugus--anything?

Buffalo Wild Wings and Five Guys Burgers will be opening soon in the Verizon plaza, (formerly where Newbury Comics and Hollywood Video were)

Super Bowl; Were to watch?!

Great suggestion! Just concerned about a crowd there. Trina's is a hot spot so, we like busy crowded comfortable not packed and hot uncomfortable. I have never been but am I dying to go.

Super Bowl; Were to watch?!

My girlfriend and I want to go out Sunday evening for the Super Bowl. We are in our 30's, so please no college kid hangouts( no offense ). Looking for great food, & creative cocktails. Good vibe, nice people, willing to go as far as Salem to Brookline. Thanks!

Anthony Bourdain No Reservations Season 7 in Boston [old]

Um, I was just throwing my two cents in about where I would like to see Bourdain go to in Boston. Not really sure where u are getting the "chef has to work the line...", uh, I was just making an observation. My comment had nothing to do with the "working class joint" comment by you earlier in the thread. I thought this was an open, friendly forum. And,no, I wouldnt consider it working class, considering his prices.

Anthony Bourdain No Reservations Season 7 in Boston [old]

My vote is for Bourdain to go to Hamersley's. He literally helped put Boston on the culinary map, he has never sold out or had any missteps, and he still works the line. He is Boston. Plus Tony could play off his love of the Red Sox

Latitude 43, Gloucester

Eric Brennan is the new chef at Alchemy? I find that hard to believe considering he is the new chef at Grill 23's new venture in Boston. Jeff Cala seems to always have ads out for chefs. Wonder why?

Pigalle Not Good

Mushroom risotto for 38 dollars!! It better had been covered with freshly sliced truffles?!? That is ridiculous.

Nice meal at the Blue Room

Omigosh, I was there a few weeks ago and thought the same thing. We arrived at the bar about an hour before closing, didn't order any food,(although had been there for dinner a couple weeks before that and it was amazing). Our bartender, female, just made us feel like she hated us and wanted us to go away and didn't want to bothered. In my previous visits I have always felt this from her, but tipped according to the bill(20%). If I wasn't in love with the chef maybe next time I will tip according to attitude-5%!

Authentic Boston Food as Christmas Gifts?

Google a recipe for Parker House Rolls, make 'em yourself, and send those. Yum.
