where to eat in the beaches

We just arrived in town are are staying in the beaches (near ashbridges bay) for a few days.
Does any have an suggestions for restos/cafes in the area. I know there are great places in Leslieville but we were hoping for things that are more walkable. Any suggestions for breakfast lunch or dinner would be appreciated,

I am in Vancouver for the next 5 days at the Delta suites downtown. Does anyone have any tips for places to eat within walking distance. I'm looking for breakie, lunch and dinner places. I've eaten at Guu in Gastown before and was amazed. I'm up for anything

where to buy cake in TO

I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the place to buy the best cake from any of the bakeries or food purveyors (pusateris, loblaws, longos etc...) in T-dot. The preference would be chocolate but I am open to any suggestions.
