Where to eat in Florence SC

There are two tasty spots just a bit east of the I-95 and I-20 interchange - RedBone Alley and StarFire Grill. RedBone Alley has a cool courtyard-ish atmosphere and great shrimp and grits. Their grilled poundcake panini is covered in bananas and ice cream - a favorite recipe passed down by the owner's mother-in-law. StarFire is traditonal / greek mixed menu. The souvlaki is just right.

RedBone Alley has great shrimp & grits, and their bronzed chicken is really divine. I've also had their chicken salad and fruit plate which is really fresh, and the portion size is large.

Another good place is the StarFire Grill - it's a mix of traditional and greek. The Polynesian chicken salad is tasty, as is the hurricane shrimp and crab.
