3 Seattle Dinners, Need 2 Recs

Sounds like you are familiar with West Seattle with both Jak's and La Rustica on your preferred list.
La Rustica is great--super atmosphere. Hang out with a glass of wine on the sidewalk if you need to wait for a table. Great view of the sound. Have the calamari if it is on the menu.

Jak's beats the Met Grill any day for steaks, unless you are in a suit taking other suits out for a business meal. I wish the Met would improve their veggies. Grey limp asparagus, ugh!

Looking for the BEST Lobster roll

Both The Salt House and the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset have good lobster rolls.

There is a whole write up in Boston magazine about where to get the best lobster roll. G. Hook in Boston sounds like a best bet, since they are a lobster pound/suppplier.

New England top split hot dog buns

I am looking to order traditional East Coast hot dog buns (top split) for the 4th of July. (Serving crab rolls, instead of lobster rolls) Anyone know where I can either find them in Seattle or order them online or by phone?

Thanks

Sushi in Seattle

Mashiko in West Seattle is very good--funky, fun atmosphere. The chef is young, very inventive, somewhat arrogant, but the fish is very fresh, portions large, and not too too expensive.

Saito's (on 2nd Ave) is AMAZING. I have yet to figure out why it isn't always bustling when I go, but they have the best fish ever.
