My favorite comfort food:

I love yigandes plaki. It basically consists of giant butter beans in a garlic-onion-tomato sauce. A close second is heavily carmelized onions simply roasted with olive oil and salt.

N/A. I mostly use online references. Although, my wife does have an old "Better Homes and Gardens" book which was her mother's first cookbook. I sometimes reach for it, then realize that it is falling apart, and always seems to be missing the pages I want. She won't let me get rid of it.
