Septime v. Saturne

Thank you for all your recommendations. Paris can be overwhelming and reading your posts on here and your blog have been super helpful.

Septime v. Saturne

Yes, first timer. She will defer to me on options for food and both Septime and Saturne were on my "short-list" for the trip.

That said, I'll check out both Les Climets and Ober-Sale but would hate to miss the opportunity to dine at Septime or Saturne. Hopefully, we'll be able to do both!

Septime v. Saturne

We typically air on the more casual side of things and my wife is a less experimental eater than myself.

Septime v. Saturne

We are finalizing our itinerary for Paris later this month. We have dinner reservations for Frenchie and Le Cinq on Wednesday and Friday, respectively.

I planned to reserve CLAJ for Thursday, but, unfortunately, they are closed. Having researched options on this board, I am now considering Septime or Saturne for Thursday. Thoughts?

TIA

Brunch Before Art Basel

We are going to be in Miami for Art Basel on Sunday and want to get brunch before. We've done Michaels and Yardbird several times and are looking for something new.

Price point is not an issue, but the Dutch does seem overpriced for the options.

Suggestions? TIA.

5 nights in Miami. So far, have Tuyo and Michy, what else?

Bourbon Steak
The Bazaar
The Dutch

Second Yardbird and Michael's

One lunch in Ft Lauderdale

Coconuts is good and only about 5 min. from the W.

There's also Steak 954 at the hotel.

2 days in Miami

Agreed on Versailles. The food is good but not exceptional. The atmosphere, however, is distinctly Cuban.

Dinner Near Sleep No More

We are doing Sleep No More on Sunday night and will need to eat a somewhat early dinner before the show. There will be 3 of us and we are looking for a mid-range, casual dinner. We enjoy all cuisines but will have a vegetarian with us so would like to stay away from meat-centric places.

I was considering Gramercy Tavern but I am open to other recs. TIA.

Wedding / Honeymoon in Paris

We're going to be staying close to the Louvre. There will be 2 of us, you know it being our honeymoon and all. Our budget is flexible were not tied down by price point but want to experience all different types of cuisine.

Wedding / Honeymoon in Paris

It's going to be a ceremony, but not a legal wedding. We will get the paperwork in the US before traveling abroad.

Wedding / Honeymoon in Paris

-whether you're comfortable travelling 15-45 minutes on public transportation. Yes, we don't mind traveling.

- what sort of food you like. I, personally, like all types of food. She's fairly adventurous and will try just about anything but would prefer a place that has some "safer" options i.e. not an entire seafood / wild game menu.

- whether you have price limits. Price is a consideration, but its not restrictive. We wlll try to eat at least 1-2 meals at all price points.

- what you've learned from the learned discussions here from threads where we've addressed similar queries. I'm thinking Le Cinq for our wedding dinner. Chez LAJ for another dinner. We're also going to do one picnic at the Eiffel tower.

- whether you are 21 and go full-bore 1,000 calories a dish or 78 yo and order 2 starters and that's it. We're young and can eat.

Wedding / Honeymoon in Paris

We are going to be in Paris next April for our wedding and honeymoon. We're both 1st timers and appreciate any advice on best places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open to all types of cuisine but we want to do the "must eats" in the city.

We have 3 days to so 9-12 meals total. Any extra special recs for our wedding dinner would be great.

Chicago Itinerary

If you have other suggestions in lieu of Spiaggia / Primehouse, I am open to suggestions. I've been to the girl and the goat and have eaten the Chicago staples on my previous trips.
