Egg Foo Yung

royal palace on tyler street makes a very good version of egg foo young (their spelling), not too much gravy/sauce, lots of fresh vegetables. i get it over fried rice about every other week and get 2 delicious lunches from it.

where is there good pad thai?

have to admit i only discovered siam bistro about 3 weeks ago. i haven't encountered any wait problems and the three or four orders of pad thai i have ordered have all be very good. i work nearby so i usually call ahead and it ready when i get there. i've tried the pad thai at both rock sugar and thai bistro (boy that’s a little confusing) and while i liked both i preferred siam bistro’s. I liked the way they prepared the chicken in either their fried or non fried versions.

where is there good pad thai?

i've tried pad thai from probably a dozen restaurants in the downtown boston area and by far the best i've had is from siam bistro on pearl st in the financial district. the regular chicken pad thai is very good but the crispy, not crunchy, chicken pad thai is outstanding especially if you like your chicken fried.

BBQ Supplies in Boston

a little off topic but does anyone have any tips on where to find reasonably priced, quality meat (especially beef brisket and ribs) to smoke? preferably in the metrowest area?

places near the verizon center

Thanks for the response and that’s great to hear. I work in Boston and while there are a ton of varied and diverse restaurant choices in any direction some of them I wouldn’t send my least favorite friend to. I will take a look at the boards using those two neighborhoods and see if I can’t find some decent recommendations. Thanks again!

places near the verizon center

coming to dc for the frozen four, look for recommendations on casual places to eat and drink either near the verizon center or the hilton arlington and anywhere in between. pretty simple tastes, bbq, burgers, pizza and pasta. the more affordable the better. thanks in advance.

Tacos Al Pastor

hardly an expert but burritos express on bedford st downtown makes a pretty decent tacos al pastor.

homemade donuts in metrowest?

i've seen similar posts singing the praises of local shops closer to boston that make great donuts. does anyone know if any such bakeries exist in the metrowest (natick/framingham) area? thanks in advance.

Bronzetti's in Framingham

its right off of rte 9 (eastbound side) just east of the intersection with 126

Bronzetti's in Framingham

went to bronzetti's saturday night. started with a caesar salad, it was big enough to easily split between two and was very good, not a lot of dressing, nice croutons and fresh romaine. there were four of us, 2 adults, 2 kids so we ordered two pizzas, probably could have got away with one. they are sicilian style. both were very good. good size, one cheese the other half pepperoni, half meatball, nice thick crust but crunchy on the bottom. i would have no problem recommending this place.

take out pasta downtown

anyone know of any places, either near the financial district or north end, to grab some good take out pasta (baked ziti, lasagna or chicken and broccoli)? i've tried viga and while it wasn't bad i was wondering if there were any other places worth a try. thanks in advance.

good thai?

looking for other good thai places in and around downtown boston. tried king & i and rock candy, both very good. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.
