10 Best Southern Hotdogs?

Barkers Red Hots are the Best!!

A unique charcoal-broiling process, a premium quality hot dog and a love for a "dog done right" are the ingredients for the success enjoyed by the Barkers team since 1984. Glenn Robins and his wife Vivian began their hot dog business as the City of Atlanta’s first licensed street vending operation. They started in the Woodruff Park area of downtown Atlanta that year and the Barkers Phenomenon has been amazing them ever since.

The premium quality hot dogs and sausages are made exclusively for Barkers by a fifth generation family-owned and operated sausage maker who has been in business since 1869. The hot dogs & sausages are scored while slow cooking over hot coals yielding a slightly crunchy, unique flavor that over the years has kept Atlanta waiting patiently in line. Indeed, "its worth the wait" was more than a slogan at the Barkers carts. Top your dog with Barkers Famous Hot Sauce, an order of their Famous Crinkle Cut Beach Fries washed in vinegar and an Ice Cold Crystal Beach Loganberry and the lunch hour could not be more perfect!

Consistency in preparation and a quality product have brought rave reviews from every local publication and many national ones too, including the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, Atlanta Business Chronicle, The New York Times and Condé Nast Traveler.

The Robins sold their vending business in 1995 because of all all the problems asscociated with vending in the City of Atlanta. They are now back after 12 years in Marietta Georgia on Windy Hill Road and Powers Ferry Rd.

The decor is cool and the staff is great!! Check them out they are the best dogs around!!!!!!!!!!!!!
