Had them there Friday night. 2 for $26 as an entree with soup and salad, their dish is the standard against I measure all others. Well worth the visit.

Nick's roast beef at 20th and Jackson. Accept no substitute. Tony Luke's roast pork with sharp provolone and fried long hots is worth the trip.
Why Bibou doesn't deserve Four Bells...
Please do not feel bad for those that eat at the bar by the kitchen. It is preferred by many that dine there on a regular basis.

Your advice was extremely helpful. We walked from the RC to the Garden District Friday afternoon, and went to Coquettue for an early round of appetizers before our 8:30 CP reservation. Highly recommended for the food and service. we shared the roasted oysters, pork rillette, and collard green ravioli, and all were excellent.

We will be in town over Presidents Day weekend. We have reservations at Commanders Palace, Herbsaint, August, Cochon, and Luke (lunch reservation included). Any thoughts on the list, or any substitution we should consider?
Any good dim sum left in Chinatown
Not a place with carts, but the soup dumplings and other noodle dishes are terrific at Dim Sum Garden. Four of us feast for $40.
Amada roast suckling pig, August 31 (Tuesday)
I had the same thought when we had the pig. Almost like it is a loss-leader to sell a large table into tapas and sangria.

When we went earlier this year there was a minimum party of six, and I think it was $33 pp. 7 of us ate the pig, and we left feeling it was a great value.

If you are looking for good Sichuan, Han Dynasty or Szechuan Tasty House. For soup dumplings, Dim Sum garden. Don't let Dim Sum Garden's location or spare ambience put you off.
Going to Distrito for the 1st time
Short rib flatbread was overwhelmed by a cherry chutney when we were there Saturday. Mahi Mahi tacos, octopus ceviche and the big plate of nachos were excellent, and enough for two.
