Where To Eat In Atlanta For This Northerner

Thanks for the recommedations so far. After thinking about it, we decided to go ahead and rent a car. Figured in the end it probably would be better to get around the city then the Metro. Now that we have the car, any other spots would be appreciated!

Where To Eat In Atlanta For This Northerner

Hi all,

My family and I are coming down to Atlanta for 5 days and looking for good restaurants that are close to our hotel. We are staying at the Downtown Hilton; we are a family of 4 adults with a 16-month old. We would like to walk to most of the restaurants, but understand that this may be difficult in Atlanta. Also, we like all styles of food and probably would prefer places that can handle a little one making noise and us having a good time!

We currently have reservations for the South City Kitchen for the one night, however, we still are looking for other places to go to. Four of the nights will be the 5 of us, and then 1 night will just be my wife and myself. Please let us know what you would recommend for our family.

Thanks!

Bucks/Mont. County Specialty Shops/Stores/Restaurants

Great responses so far! Does anyone know of a good Asian store in Buxco?

Bucks/Mont. County Specialty Shops/Stores/Restaurants

Having moved to Bucks county in the last 2 years, I am slowly putting together a list of places to go to get authentic, quality foods instead of going to the big box called Acme or Ginuardi's. For example, we get our bagels at Bagel Junction in Newtown, our German sausages at Riekers in Rockledge, and our vegatables from some of the local farmer markets. We love to shop the small, local places to give them support in the community plus IMO the overall better quality of product.

So, my question to you is where do you go to get a specialty or authentic food in Bucks or Mont. County? I want to anything and everything - the more we stay out of the big box store, the better!

Userfriend,

Thanks for the recommendation - we'll give it a try!

King Of Prussia

Hello all,

I need to find a decent, relatively inexpensive place to go with 7 people tonight for dinner. We are meeting friends "halfway" in KoP, and would rather stay away from the big chains. It doesn't have to be "dirt" cheap, but nothing that we are going to spend $15-20/pp. Pizza shops or nice family restaurants would be great - just somewhere to sit down, having a relaxing dinner before driving back. Any ideas? Thanks

Friday Night Pre-Theater

Went to Prima Donna for pre-theater dinner a few nights ago, and to be honest, it was horrible. From terrible service to food just "not that good!" I was severly disappointed as the place came highly recommended. Overall, it was our first and last trip there!

The great cheesesteak debate...what would you trade it for?

Having lived in Texas for a few years, I would gladly trade a cheesesteak & fries for some good old Texas brisket BBQ, a side of baked beans, cole slaw, and nice piece of jalapeno bread!! Heaven on a plate! (or a piece of parchment paper depending where you go)!!!

Yet, while living there, I would have killed for a decent hoagie roll for a true Philly bakery!! I guess it's all relative!
