Dallas Grocers - Pumpkin Dip???

I'm posting for a friend who bought a sweet, pumpkin-cream cheese type spread last Thanksgiving but cannot remember the brand or where she found it. It seems easy enough to prepare one but she's stubborn. :)

Any feedback about locating that type of product would be appreciated. She's tried Tom Thumb and Kroger so far.

Suggestions for El Ranchito -DFW

I shared a cabrito platter with a friend and it was great. First cabrito for either of us so I can't compare El Ranchito's version to other places but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Good margaritas & corn tortillas also.

Looking for family owned Mexican restaurant in Rockwall

El Potrillo de la Sandia in the Harbor development. I'm not sure if it meets your needs for authenticity but it's better than the chains.

[DFW] Quest for best refried beans in D/FW [DFW]

Haven't enjoyed their beans yet but as my Weight Watchers leader says, fat tastes great.

Taco Question - DFW

I think Bobby Flay spotlighted a place in San Antonio. I don't recall all the details but I thought perhaps it originated there. Here's a link to an article about the show.

Best Burger In Dallas/Fort Worth

Maybe I'm too simple to be a true Hound. My burger from Snuffer's in Rockwall was magnificent last week. Juicy, flavorful - all I ask for in a burger.

Mobile knife sharpening..Dallas

I've been out of the business for several years but there used to be a guy in the East Dallas-Garland area who did just that. Our staff typically took care of their own so we never used him more than a couple of times.

If my aging mind can recall the company's name, I'll post it.

Bryan-CS suggestions

Our daughter has a basketball tourney in the Bryan - College Station area next weekend. I was hoping someone could recommend a fun, local venue for a small group of parents to share a meal . Would prefer something within a 30-45 mile radius - TexMex or BBQ would be great.

I wish we had time to go further west and sample some of the Central Texas BBQ spots I've read about. Since we don't, are there any non-chain places near Bryan-CS that are worthy of a visit?

Thanks in advance for any input.
