Lemon cake with lemon curd recipe needed- not pound cake

Have searched & found nothing that looks great. Anyone know if I can add lemon juice and zest to my white cake recipe used with coconut filling? Thanks

Need advice for Chesapeake Bay area restaurants, especially ones with great views or on marshes.

The Narrows has excellent food with a great water/boats view. It is in Graysonville, between the Kent Narrows Bridge and 301/50 turnoff. Outstanding Ahi!!

Someone must be eating there...

sorry, disagree. A Tower Oaks chef was featured on Food Network & is nominated for Chef of the year. We eat there often and the food is great, well plated and delicious. The decor is beautiful. Go & see.

you can always depend on any Clyde's restaurant for great food & service, especially Tower Oaks in Rockville or forever-there Old Ebbits.

Where to celebrate a dear, eclectic friend's 40th birthday?

There's a great place in Falls Church, Peking Duck, with a private screened off room with huge round table & rotating lazy susan. Favorite of many celebs. They'll even sing Happy Birthday in Chinese. Fantastic duck & more, great fancy & reg cocktails.

Family Dinner near white house

3 votes for Old Ebbitts. The food and service are both great. Burgers are outstanding & fantastic oysters on half shell.

Sushi grade tuna?

The Fishery on upper Connecticut Ave in Chevy Chase offers excellent quality and variety. Very helpful. next to Circle Liquor, across from American Diner. They packed 4 lbs mussels in ice for me, I drove down near Raleigh and every mussel was delicious. no throw always!

Frozen Papaya?

FYI, Sam's Club carries Frozen Mango, if that helps.
also, got a great deal on fresh mango and googled how to freeze it and it's doing fine. covered with several layers of parchment paper, in airtight container.

Pre-minced garlic and ginger?

Peel fresh ginger and wrap it in foil, put in freezer.
It's easier to grate and always there.

Keep garlic in a dish (not peeled) inside a cupboard.

Promise, they both work.
