Going nuts for donuts!

I miss the French Crullers of Colonial Donuts in Oakland, and the Apple Fritters of the King Pin Donuts in Berkeley, California. The Donut Man in Glendora and Stan's in Westwood is good for a fix, but I'm looking for more. Freshness, Size, and Favor and is what I'm in search for in the City of the Angels! Are they consistance great and a great value!
Will anyone like to share their hidden donut spots? What is your all time donut and why?
Thanx for the sugar rush dudes!

Breakfast-to-go for an LAX flight

Have you thought or try The Pantry @ 9th and Figueroa or Jerry's deli they are open 24/7, not cheap but open and real breakfast to go! You can try picking up bagles, cream cheese the nite before...Hey, Metro station @ aviaition there is a catering truck servicing up decent chow. Pastrami and eggs sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and other stuff.
Want tip: How NOT to paid eight dollar a day in parking fees @ LAX? And the Los Angeles County Sheriffs will keep tabs on your vehicle, and if your luck on video also!

Pink's --- WTF!

Gray's Papaya for the price, I would agree! The Tuesday specials unbeatable! But, In terms of favor, texture, and looks I would list it on the bottom of the food chain. You got history and the "Big Apple" working in your favor. Yes, Pink's is over price! But, where do you go at 10:00 o'clock at nite for a Jalapeno dog that is half the length of your arm covered in chili and see famous people(ie. Penny Marshall) chowing down like everyone else? Raise the prices at Gray's Papaya and let's see the lines outside...I do think so!!

Which LA Restaurants are UNDERrated?

El Torito! That's really scrapping the bottom of the barrel! Grab a drink and catch the free shuttle to the pond, that's the only time you're going to catch me at an El Torito!

Pink's --- WTF!

Jalapenos and the Polish is what I go for at "Pink's". For that inexpensive Chili dog...Tommy's, but for the value vote it's got to be Costco!

Location in Alhambra can accomendate your group and they do serve up the "BREWS", Monterey Park would be too small.

How about BJ's Pizza and Brewhouse @ Montebello Town center, Petrillo's 833 E. Valley Blvd. San Garbiel (Valley Blvd.and Del Mar), The Pizza Company across from the San Garbiel Mission, Marquez on Potreo Grande in Monterey Park across from the Cementary, Steve's Steakhouse 5 freeway @ Eastern Avenue. Too bad no Chinese resturant...very good and inexpense lunch specials...for real Chinese, A1 resturant (was a "Sam Woo") next to The Montebello Ford. No fuss, no muss...Hometown buffet in Montebello!
