Dinner for 12 in Manhattan. Loved the look of Il Buco but they charge around 4,000 minimum for a wednesday night. Argh!

Hi, I'm looking for suggestions for an upcoming office "holiday" party. Mid or downtown preferable. American or Italian cuisine. Party of 12 in a private charming room with great food (obviously!).
