Sea To You Sushi, Brookline?
Sea To You Sushi also hosts sushi making classes. I'm not sure if your coupon would apply to them. The classes are a lot of fun, especially for dates/birthdays. They provide instruction and ingredients, and you get to take whatever you make home at the end of the course.
bone marrow
Deuxave on Comm Ave boasts a 9 hour french onion soup with bone marrow crouton, which sounds awfully enticing. Has anyone tried this?
Anthony Bourdain No Reservations Season 7 in Boston, Part Two
He was at Rondo's, right down the street from Liberty Bell!
Anthony Bourdain No Reservations Season 7 in Boston, Part Two
I don't believe Tony is at Liberty Bell. Was just there and there was no sign of him.
Best Yakitori in Boston?
Toki just renovated their entire menu and no longer serves yakitori. You can try Basho Japanese Brasserie and Oishii (at least the one in South End). They serve some robata/yakitori, but the selection is relatively limited. They're okay, but not as good as the places I've been to in New York and I'm sure will fail to compare to the yakitori in Tokyo.
Private Event Venue Recommendation
Hi,
I am organizing a holiday party for around 40-50 people in January. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a possible venue. I'm looking for a moderately upscale establishment, preferably with a private room, in the downtown Boston/financial district area to serve beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvres. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Best Chinese Seafood Around Boston?
Hey guys, my parents are in town visiting for the week and I'm trying to find good Chinese seafood restaurants in the Boston area that I can take them to. I've heard many good things about Peach Farm in Chinatown, however I have never personally been there so I'm not well-versed in their dishes. What are some of the hits there? Also, any recommendations for other restaurants that fit the bill would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Where to buy aged sake in Boston?
I tried Hanahato Kijoshu at O Ya and really loved it. It's a dessert sake, aged 8 years. I can't seem to find any place in Boston that carries it for sale. I know Oishii serves this particular sake as well. I tried ordering it online but unfortunately Massachusetts law prohibits the shipping of hard alcohol to this state. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go? Thanks very much in advance!
