Dinner near the F train

I am searching for a place for 4 girls in our mid-20s to have dinner on a weeknight. It can be anywhere near a stop on the F so we can all get home quickly after dinner.

Open to all cuisines and looking to spend around $40/pp

What to do with leftover buttermilk?

make a buttermilk pancake/waffle batter and freeze that if you don't want to freeze the plain buttermilk.

Fancy Organic Dinner?

had a great experience with the tasting menu at pure food & wine. went with a group of four and for many courses we all got different dishes and shared, which allowed us to taste even more. i highly recommend it.

kitchenaid artisan stand mixer: will it help me bake!!??

if you like the bake, the kitchenaid mixer definitely makes things easier for you! but if you don't, it won't magically turn you into a master baker.

Restos in Dublin, Ireland

just came back from a trip to ireland. there's a lot of seafood there, so you're in luck.
some restaurants in dublin that stood out:
cornucopia on wicklow street for a casual lunch!
for brunch, cake cafe, hidden on pleasants street, is adorable and delicious.

please help this new yorker during her first trip to LA

i am about to find myself in los angeles without a car or anyone to keep me company for one day.

i'll be staying on edris drive right off of west pico boulevard - please recommend a place within walking distance where i can enjoy a nice lunch by myself.

are there any can't miss-places near me? i wouldn't want to spend more than $25, but any cheap eats or food trucks in the neighborhood are also welcome.

thank you!

How is the food at City Winery? Anything better nearby?

i've been to city winery a couple of times. the first time i ate there, and the next time i made sure to eat beforehand. they have a pretty limited selection and small portions, but that's not to say that the food is bad.

have fun, it's a great venue!

Ireland Eats - From Doolin to Dublin

My husband and I are heading to Ireland in a few weeks. We will land at Shannon and rent a car for the week. Our first stop is Doolin, and then we're on to Dingle, Killarney, maybe Cork and/or Kinsale and we'll end up in Dublin (where we will give up our car).
So we're looking for a little bit of everything in each of these places (minus a few breakfasts, because we'll be staying in b&bs along the way): the best coffee, a romantic dinner, delicious cheap eats, the best pubs around, etc.

What's the best veg restaurant (upscale) in the City?

the tasting menu at pure food and wine was incredible - i went with a group of four, and for some courses they gave us each different dishes, all of which were delicious! i was impressed by everything from the service to the presentation, and i couldn't recommend it more (though obviously some posters disagree).

Weekend in Montreal

thanks for all of these replies!

more about us: we are a 20-something newlyweds looking to eat three days worth of meals in town, so as for what we're looking for, a little of everything!
things we like: red wine, beer, inventive vegetarian food, hamburgers, fish (but no shellfish!), middle eastern food... we live in manhattan, so we're used to going out for all sorts of international fare, if that helps.
hubby will eat anything, i have an aversion to slimy foods.

Weekend in Montreal

I will be traveling to Montreal for the first time for a weekend and staying on Rue Sainte Elizabeth. I am looking for some good eats (and drinks!), and since I've never been there, I don't know where to begin, so please guide me.

Open to all cuisines, looking for some moderately-priced places, but also maybe one meal to splurge on.
