Does anyone know what the numbers stamped on vintage copper cookware mean? I'm talking about ones such as "1," "3," and "5." I don't believe they have anything to do with size, because some of the pieces I have are the same size with different numbers. The numbers are typically stamped on the brass handles. Thanks.
