Yes, it was - for me, too, at the time - expensive, but truly worth it. I never bought anything there that wasn't at least very good, and usually much more than that. Thanks for sharing the memories!

Several years ago, this bakery operated in Brookland (Catholic U neighborhood). It was one of - if not THE - best places for decorated cakes, and absolutely THE best for gingerbread. They left that neighborhood, and I am trying to determine if the have relocated in the DC area. Any information would be appreciated!
