I would like to add that I have cleaned this cauldron today as it was very dirty. However, inside it is green with patination. Should I have not cleaned it?

Hello,

Please can someone help me date my copper cauldron

The only mark is 11 on the patterned brass handle. I am assuming it is hand made as the rivets holding the handle are odd sizes. I don't know why the side seems to be brass and also a circle towards the bottom.

I bought this to sit by my fire to put my logs in, so it is quite large and weighs 2.1 kg .Thank you
