Best meal I ever ate:

There are so many, I can't pick a favourite...but I can say the meals I remember most fondly are remembered more for the people I was with than for what was on the menu.

I wish I'd gone to enough dinner parties to have a "go-to" dish.

My favorite comfort food:

BBQ pork and duck on steamed rice, and a side of gai lan with oyster sauce.

My top 5 favorite restaurants:

Sad to say, since moving to Calgary from Vancouver I've yet to find a single restaurant I'd recommend enthusiastically - to someone I like anyway.

My most tattered cookbooks:

Who needs cookbooks when there's a kajillion free recipies online?
