My wife and I are heading to Paris in about 2 weeks. We've been looking over places to eat and have made a few reservations, but there are still a lot of holes in our itinerary. Looking for some recommendations keeping the following in mind:
We're staying on a boat on the Seine, steps away from the Eiffel Tower. We're walking distance to L'Astrance, but I think the price for dinner has seriously deterred me from going there (I've heard upwards of 400EU per person, and I'm not sure I can justify that). Right now we have reservations at the following restaurants:
L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon
Also planning on going to Les Cocottes (my wife says this is a must for her). The 58 Tour Eiffel is really for the novelty of the meal, rather than the quality. But I really want to try and experience some great dining while we are there without completely going broke. Especially looking for options in the 7th and 16th that we can walk/bike to.
We're also going to the Opera Garnier for a performance at 19:30 - any options for food before that would be great as well.
