Just a short report-
Ate at both Plant and Laughing Seed
Plant was ,in my opinion, really bad tasting food(inedible) and the Vegans agreed
Laughing Seed,on the other hand, was FABULOUS
Low Country roll ups was outstanding Very Ample portions More reasonable pricing then Plant
All five of us LOVED Laughing Seed

Plant looks like everyone's choice.
When I look at their Menu online it seems they have only six choices for Dinner Entrees

Having moved to Asheville almost two years ago, I have never tried Vinnies in North Asheville.
At the suggestion of a frequent patron of Vinnies, we went Friday night.
It started with $5 Great Martinis and orders of Chicken Parm and Pasta Carbonara
Both dishes were incredible and the portions were more than ample.
What was also available was wheat pasta . A real plus
Being from The Bronx,my standards are high and Vinnies went beyond my critical expectations.
Service was friendly and competent
My only complaint was there was no shaker jar of Oregano on the table. Parm Cheese and red pepper flakes was there.
I can not wait to go back
Before Friday, I thought Nona Mia was good
Vinnies hands down is the best Italian in Asheville

The food was decent but not for the pricing
Shrimp and Veal dishes , but just came with veggies, Sides were additional
$5-6 that really adds up
Lunch included a $12 Hamburger
All I am saying is all of us in Weaverville were looking forward to the new restaurant - disappointed with the prices
I am confident that they will lower their prices -if they are to survive

go look at the menus of each- you can eat very well at jack for $10
compare to vinnies , piazza and nona mia for good quality of italian

offers so many less pricey options
if you think$24 for steak is reasonable you must live at Rheems Creek Golf Course
Even my rich friends in North Asheville thinks The Glass onion is overpriced for what you get

i have heard mixed reviews-
Most comments were -Too Pricey
Pasta dishes mid to upper teens
Main dishes in the $20's plus sides
Way too expensive for Weaverville Folks (Company included) and the Economy

As a resident of Weaverville and who has frequent Jack of the Hearts( 3 times), I disagree with your assessment of Jack of the hearts
Basically overpriced, lousy food . Small portions and a disservice to the Weaverville community
Ask anybody, it really sucks

Curas ,which closed, was far better food but even more expensive
I give them 6 months, at best

This type of pricing is exactly why Curras failed, athough, i admit that(Baja) is not so high priced
Good mexican food should never be this expensive
I also thought the menu is not very creative like White Duck Taco
I will try it anyway to see if it comapares
