I'd like your favorite sandwich recipe and your least favorite food ingredient.

Peanut butter and bananas..but grilled!

Egg Salad light mayo with bacon and tomato

tuna mixed with lime and cilantro with avocado!

As far as ingredients, of course every thing's better with bacon..except you waistline, so my second favorite is roasted red pepper, it wakes up almost any sandwich

favourite mail-order food

I've only tried a few mail order items. I've order Omaha steaks which were okay. I also had a pizza sent to me from a friend in Chicago which was great! You can find just about any food in America that you want shipped to you at www.eatyourmailbox.com .

mail order pork, chicken, etc?

I found a great website where you can find almost any mail order food, and they definitely have a lot of grass-fed beef. I've only tried La Cense (which was awesome) but I plan to try more. They probably have other hormone free meats on there to if you search! The web site is:

Good Buritto in San Diego

I'm from the Bay Area as well and trust me, there is plenty of great Mexican out here, it is different though but with time you'll find some favorites.

There's something for everyone if you head to "Old Town San Diego", which you should check out if you're new to town anyways. For very authentic and very good food try Rancho Coronado. For Baja style mexican try Rockin Baja Lobster. You'll find solid food and good menus at Old Town Mexican Cafe or Coyote Cafe. For EXCELLENT "gourmet" mexican try Zoccolo's. Take a Friday night and head to Old Town have a margarita walk around and try the one that appeals to you. Also, just outside old town Blue Agave has great authentic Mole sauces.

What's "the" food where you're from?

I'm curious about the food associated with different cities/states. Everyone know that Chicago is famous for its' Pizza and Clam Chowder is big in Boston, but what about the lesser known city/food associations? I live in San Diego, and you're not aloud to come here without trying our fish tacos. What food is directly associated with your city / state?
