We're a group of 4 adults wanting to find this favourite dessert for a special milestone for one of our group. Something of the quality of Thomas Haas' treats. We're looking for a restaurant to go along with it in the Vancouver area, or possibly Burnaby, West or North Van. Excluding alcohol, we're looking at the $25 - $45 a plate range. We eat everything. We'll be choosing wines in a range of prices, no doubt. We're good with Italian cuisine, but it doesn't have to be. Not heavy on the pasta though. The event is in the next 4-5 weeks and we're flexible with the day, doesn't have to be a weekend. We would like good solid food but our eyes will be on the Tiramisu. I'm also thinking that desserts come and desserts go, so I'm hoping to find a place that's pretty stable with their menu. Does anyone have some suggestions? Thanks.
