Restaurant recommendations for Wedding (Lake Maggiore/Lake Orta area)

Thank you ejbjr, I'll look up that restaurant. I really want to stay away from the very touristy areas, which from my experience don't always have the best or most authentic food. I want our guests to feel that they really have a sense of the food of the Piedmont region.

Restaurant recommendations for Wedding (Lake Maggiore/Lake Orta area)

Hi,

My fiance and I are trying to find a restaurant in either Lake Maggiore or Lake Orta for our wedding reception and dinner. I have been searching online, but don't see anything that seems fitting. Our wedding coordinator has suggested a few restaurants, but it's really difficult to tell if the food is any good.

A few details about what we're looking for (besides amazing food):
-Lakeside or lakeview important
-Does not have to be fine dining, but that could also work
-Large party 20-30 people
-Outdoor seating, or at least a terrace
-Would be a bonus if there were beautiful grounds

Thank you, Chowhounders!

Looking for Thanksgiving Catering in LA Area!

I don't need the turkey--just the sides. I've looked into The Kitchen for Exploring Food and Julienne and both look good. Thanks!

Looking for Thanksgiving Catering in LA Area!

I'm looking for a good Thankgiving catering company in or near LA. I don't need full-service, but am looking for a pre-order, pick-up and go option, where I can reheat at home. I've heard of Julienne in San Marino, but don't know how good they are. Any recommendations would be really appreciated! Need a little extra help this Thanksgiving!

Thanks in advance!

Super helpful! Thanks so much! Does anyone have any favorite breakfast spots in DC? Great bakeries or lounges? Thanks again!

DC RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS--BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER

Thanks so much for your reply and sorry for my late response--was having issues getting Chowhound to work properly. Anyway, thinking of going to Gettysburg for a dose of Civil War history--just wondering if anyone knew of decent places to eat while there.

DC RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS--BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER

Thanks for your reply and sorry for my late response, as mentioned above, I was having issues getting Chowhound to let me "reply". Anyway, was thinking of visiting Gettysburg as a day trip as it's not that far from DC. Just wondering if anyone knew of decent places to eat while there. But, really looking for great restaurants in DC for breakfast, lunch and dinner--such as local institutions, must-not-miss, and favorite places. Also going to be spending time in Old Town Alexandria, so any restaurant recs in that area would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks!

DC RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS--BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER

It's a tall order, I know, but I'm looking for some restaurant recommendations in DC, Old Town Alexandria, and Gettysburg. Staying along Red Line in Woodley Park and familiar with the city. Looking for restaurant recommendations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with some awesome coffee joints, bakeries, and bars thrown in, too. Adventurous eaters. Cheap eats, fine dining, DC institutions (think Ben's Chili Bowl), historic restaurants, hot spots, must-not-miss, etc. Love ethnic, French, Japanese, modern American, gastropub, Middle Eastern, Italian, etc.--we're not fussy. Budget is flexible. Any recommendations would be totally appreciated! Thanks!
