Indian & Italian Restaurant Recommendations... I'm entertaining some guests this weekend and thought a good Indian restaurant and a good Italian restaurant would be great, any recommendations? Personally, I would go to Lahore Tikka, but it lacks ambience (but we may still go cus its so good). For italian, there are so many, I'm considering Bar Italia (lame?). Any recommendations are appreciated. |

I actually remember having a good experience at Giovanna's once a few years ago - and that's the type of environment/meal that I like and am looking for. Just to confirm, I researched reviews of Giovanna's and found nothing but horror stories - back to square one. |

visitor to town - JKWB, Canoe - thoughts? Aside from the fantastic view, Canoe is one of the few high-end restaurants that's actually worth the prices. The wine is outrageous, but the food is spectacular. |

There's a restaurant on the corner of Baldwin & McCaul that's great dim sum. |

Would like to go to a solid Italian Restaurant, and will be in this district tomorrow. Non-pretentious and not too popular, more like a trattoria. I've 'x' ed places like Il Gatto Nero (bad service) Bar Italia (too loud and trendy). Any recommendations are appreciated... |
